Alton Little Theater Announces the First Play Reading in the New Playwright Series!

Alton Little Theater invites you to attend our inaugural play reading for a brand new play!

When:

Saturday September 27th, 2025 7:30 pm

Sunday September 28th, 2025 2:00 pm

Format: This event will be held in the Lobby of Alton Little Theater with actors reading directly from the script. At the conclusion of the production the audience is encouraged to ask questions and provide feedback on the production.

Synopsis: The Heal provides us with a look into the inner world of women’s professional wrestling by following Jaclyn Spencer through her injuries, personal tragedies and her eventual comeback. This is a heartbreaking story of strong women athletes and the challenges and tragedies they face in their effort to become the best in the world.
