Alton Little Theater (ALT) has been a cornerstone of our community for over 90 years, bringing stories to life, nurturing local talent, and creating unforgettable memories for our audiences. Today, we face one of the most significant challenges in our history: a catastrophic sewer system failure.
Our aging sewer system, built with outdated Orangeburg pipes, has failed entirely. Repairing the 150-foot sewer line under our parking lot will require extensive excavation and reconstruction, costing an estimated $30,000. Additionally, safety shutdowns during repairs will result in an anticipated $20,000 loss in revenue.
